Royal Windsor Horse Show

Five Army teams competed against their RN, RAF, Police and cadet force counterparts in the Queen’s Plate at Royal Windsor Horse Show 2021, a class for serving personnel and their non-military working horses.

It was a closely fought battle in front of the first crowds many have seen since pre-covid. In addition, the teams had the privilege of parading and jumping-off in front of Her Majesty the Queen.

Known for its crowds and dressed fences, even experienced combinations can have issues at this event, but all our riders performed brilliantly, with three Army teams into the final six for jump off. Blenheim Team were the eventual winners having jumped clear. Capt Zoe Andrews R.SIGNALS kept her nerve and delivered a flawless final round to secure the title.
